Public Hearing - Sterling Forest Casino
December 1, 2014
On Thursday, December 4th, at 7PM, the Town of Tuxedo will host a public meeting to discuss the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) prepared in response to plans to build a casino in the midst of Sterling Forest State Park Preserve. During the meeting, members of the public will have a chance to express their concerns about the plans and comment on the impact statement on the record.

Hamilton Carriage Road Restoration Project Complete at Minnewaska State Park Preserve

The complete restoration of Hamilton Carriage Road and adjacent connections to Castle Point Carriage Road have been completed and is scheduled to reopen to park patrons on Friday September 12, 2014. Hamilton Carriage Road is a multi-use carriage road open for hiking, biking and equestrian use. Thank you for your cooperation and support restoring the historic carriage road network at Minnewaska State Park Preserve.
